Uzo Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on Netflix's Orange Is The New Black, took home two big awards from the 2016 Screen Actor's Guild Awards last week. But she made news for who she took to the awards, too -- lifelong friend and prom date Mark Crowley.
Aduba and Crowley met in kindergarten in their hometown of Medfield, Massachusetts. Thirty years later, Aduba still holds on tight to the "priceless" friendship with Crowley; she has proudly touted her good friend via social media throughout the years .
The much-awarded actress marked the event with an Instagram split image of the two on prom night and the two of them on the red carpet that said "He asked me to prom, I said yes. I asked him to SAG, he said yes."
He asked me to the prom, I said yes. I asked him to SAGs, he said yes. #sagawards @mcrow55

Aduba picked up some hardware at the SAGs for the second year in a row, beating stiff competition from Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep) and Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation). She accepted her speech with grace and aplomb, ending with encouraging words for aspiring actors.
Orange Is The New Black also won the "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy" award. The Netflix original beat out the casts from Big Bang Theory, Key & Peele, Modern Family and more. OITNB returns to Netflix on June 17.
