Donald Trump did not take Snoop Dog's music video of "BadBadNotGood" lightly. Instead, the US President went on a Twitter rant against the video, which Florida senator Marco Rubio called as a serious threat to the president's safety.

Trump took Snoop Dog's video as a diss so he made his opinions known through social media. The US President, who is not one to back out of a Twitter exchange, sent out a clear message against the rapper and his "BadBadNotGood" music video. In his tweet, Trump criticized Snoop Dog and called him a failure. "Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!" he wrote.

Trump's tweet has since received mix reactions from readers. Other Twitter users thought the US President was being too sensitive. Meanwhile, others sympathized with Trump's feelings, with one user named Ben Hooper calling Snoop Dog's "BadBadNotGood" video sad.

According to Cnet, other politicians also took Trump's side against the video. They called it "extreme." Florida senator Marco Rubio called it a threat to the US President's safety. He told TMZ that Snoop Dog should not have included Trump in his "BadBadNotGood" video since other people might misinterpret its meaning. "We've had presidents assassinated before in this country, so anything like that is something people should be really careful about," he said.

Trump's tweet against Snoop Dog and his "BadBadNotGood" video came after the rapper featured a clown that resembles the US President. In the music video, Snoop Dog has a plastic gun aimed at the man's temples. He fires the gun but instead of an actual bullet, a paper printed with the word "Bang" comes out. Rubio said that the shooting scene might give twisted people wrong ideas, which could put Trump's safety at risk.
