The Apr. 1 premiere of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is nigh and Funimation is leveling up the hype by releasing a brand-new trailer. This time, the teaser for the comeback of the popular thrilling series featured the Beast titan.

The first trailer for the upcoming sophomore run of the Hajime Isayama creation highlighted some beloved characters. It also introduced new kinds of titans as well as reminded fans of the series that titans have actually helped shield humanity from other titans. The new "Attack on Titan" Season 2 trailer also debuted a new titan, one that is more intelligent and more cunning than its brethren.

Those who keep up with the manga would already be aware of this particular giant. But for those who are not, Nerdist shared that this Sasquatch-looking Beast titan, shown in the latest "Attack on Titan" Season 2 trailer, can communicate intelligently using words. And this one wants to know all about the 3D maneuver gear the elite titan-fighting team uses.

This titan is not the last surprise in the series' second run. What everyone saw in the most recent "Attack on Titan" Season 2 trailer is just a taste of the rest to come. Because as the official synopsis for the anime says, there are more titans than the Beast approaching Wall Rose, Comic Book wrote.

Furthermore, as the newest "Attack on Titan" Season 2 trailer shows, Eren Jaeger's battle against titans will continue. Through his newly-acquired abilities, he continues to fight the giant flesh-eating monsters that he had sworn to wipe out. He and his brethren have suffered losses, but at the same time, they had also tasted victories. For one, they managed to defeat the female titan, who turned out to be someone from their ranks. However, the titan became encased in a hard shell nobody could penetrate. So for now, their battle against the rest of these gigantic monsters and their struggle to keep humanity safe, continues.
