Eminem New Music Regret, Wiz Khalifa Beef? 50 Cent Rejects 'See You Again' Collaboration
Infamous "Rap God" Eminem spent so much time focused on 2015's hit drama "Southpaw," that he ultimately passed on another huge hip-hop opportunity. But Wiz Khalifa's probably thankful!
During a radio interview with Boomer & Carton back in September, former Shady Records superstar 50 Cent shockingly revealed:
"At the time we had to make a decision between doing that []Southpaw'] and the song for 'Fast & Furious.' And that record ['See You Again'] was a huge success for Wiz Khalifa and them. [Em] decided to do 'Southpaw' because he was invested in the project."
And as most MstarsNews readers already know, the "Black and Yellow" emcee's hit song also featuring Charlie Puth exploded on the charts:
But the popular MMLP2 lyricist doesn't seem too upset or regretful, since he remains focused on several other (non-music related) business ventures. And he always has Fifty's support:
Eminem served as executive producer of the Southpaw soundtrack, which included these awesome artists:
1. "Cry for Love (Part 1)" (James Horner)
2. "Kings Never Die" (Eminem featuring Gwen Stefani)
3. "Beast (Southpaw Remix)" (Rob Bailey and The Hustle Standard featuring Busta Rhymes, KXNG CROOKED and Tech N9ne)
4. "This Corner" (Denaun)
5. "What About the Rest of Us" (Action Bronson and Joey Bada$$ featuring Rico Love)
6. "Raw" (Bad Meets Evil)
7. "R.N.S." (Slaughterhouse)
