Nicki Minaj's Real Hair: 'American Idol' Judge Tweets Picture Without a Wig, Long Black Hair [PHOTO], Shows Off Toned Down Look for ELLE Magazine Cover, April 2013 Issue

Nicki Minaj is known for her ever changing hair styles. The "Super Bass" singer shows up every week on FOX's "American Idol" with new wig, featuring a brand new bright color. This is why it was such a big deal when the rapper tweeted out a picture of her real hair on Twitter. The singer's long black hair wasn't covered with a brightly covered wig for the first time in a long time. That's right Nicki fans, check out the picture she tweeted Tuesday, March 19 revealing all her natural hair. No platinum blonde locks or big pink wig.

In Nicki's actual tweet she includes a bunch of hashtags with the photo of her very long, layered black hair. @NickiMinaj tweeted, "#LongHairDontCare #HangTime #ImaWearItOutWhenItTouchesMyASS =P"

The "American Idol" season 12 judge must be liking the all natural feel because she also went nearly makeup-less for the cover of ELLE magazine's April 2013 issue. Nicki is known for her vibrant makeup colors and styles, but on the cover of ELLE she showed off a considerably toned down look. Nicki may have looked great on the cover (picture below), but that doesn't mean it was easy for her to go without her signature pink makeup. The singer told ELLE, "When I saw myself with barely any makeup on, it was such a... like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard. I feel that it's become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes- you know, nothing - I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."

Nicki has also been in the news recently for a nip slip that occurred while the singer was shooting a hot tub scene for her "High School" music video.
