'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Trailer: Bob Odenkirk's Jimmy is Tired of Playing by the Rules

In the first season of the Breaking Bad spinoff/prequel Better Call Saul, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) couldn't seem to get one thing right, even though he acted in the most honest way possible. In the new season 2 trailer, he's starting to turn into the Saul Goodman we all know and love.

No more playing by the rules!

In the first season of the show, Jimmy tried to do things the right way for the sake of his career as well as that of his brother, Chuck (Michael McKean), and as everything goes poorly for him, it's easy to see why he ultimately ends up turning into unscrupulous Saul.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, the new teaser for the show's second season sees the seeds of the character of Saul popping into place. There are also glimpses of characters from last year's first season, including Jonathan Banks' Mike Ehrmantraut (a role he originated in Breaking Bad), Rhea Seehorn's Kim Wexler and Michael Mando's Nacho.

Recently, Aaron Paul, who won three Emmys for playing Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, told Variety that he'd be more than open to reprise his role as the addict turned meth lord in the prequel show.

"I don't want to say anything," Paul told the outlet about making a comeback to Vince Gilligan's Albuquerque. "All I can say is I do know is there are some very exciting surprises coming up in the second season in Better Call Saul. So I highly, highly recommend watching the show."

With the release of the second season just weeks away, the first few clips and images of the show are starting to pop up. IGN recently launched another teaser, which features Jimmy sitting at a bar and surrounded by mariachis, because why not?

The second season of Better Call Saul will premiere on Monday, February 15 on AMC.
