'Boy Meets World' Reunion: Cast Adds Mr. Feeny to 'Girl Meets World' Spinoff Pilot, Cory & Topanga Rings Displayed in Teaser [PICTURES] from Sequel Filming

It was a ''Boy Meets World'' reunion last week on the set of Disney's new spinoff series, "Girl Meets World," as the cast welcomed back the beloved Mr. Feeny to the sequel show family. William Daniels, 86, joins Ben Savage & Danielle Fishel in the new pilot that revisits everyone's favorite '90s TV couple who are back together again: Cory and Topanga.

While the cast was filming the pilot episode last week, Fishel tweeted a teaser picture displaying Mr. & Mrs. Cory Matthews, hand-in-hand, sporting their glistening wedding rings. This generated even more excitement surrounding the potential "Girl Meets World" series.

"Cory and Topanga... together again," the 31-year-old actress captioned the photo.

Almost as exciting as Cory and Topanga's return to television is the coinciding news of their reunion with the one-and-only Mr. Feeny. TVLine has reported that William Daniels "will indeed reprise" his iconic role in Disney Channel's most highly anticipated pilot, just as he has in all 7 previous seasons of the original series where he followed his students from grammar school all the way to college.

It's still unknown what Mr. Feeny will be up to in the new Boy Meets World spinoff, but the wise teacher was recently photographed in a classroom setting, so is a possibility that he will be back working at the school now attended by Cory's (Ben Savage) children (including Rowan Blanchard, who's playing his daughter, Riley). With a new generation of the Matthews family to pass his words of wisdom on to, it's only fitting that Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) appears in "Girl Meets World."

Other former beloved Boy Meets World cast members spotted on the set of filming last week were Rider Strong/'Shawn Hunter,' Cory's good looking BFF and Will Friedle/'Eric Matthews,' Cory's goofy, charistmatic older brother. They were snapped on set with some of the new generation stars of the series (seen below) at the live studio audience taping, but a source tells TV Line that they were just visiting and will not appear in the pilot as of now.

"Boy Meets World was a defining aspect of my life, and I cherish those seven years. It was never just a job -- on a personal level, many of my best memories and friendships were formed because of it," Rider Strong wrote in an open letter after the pilot was announced. "So I am extremely happy for Ben [Savage] and Danielle [Fishel] to be able to continue the story," reveals former bad boy 'Shawn Hunter'.

When the subject of returning cast members possibly having guest appearances on "Girl Meets World" first came up, creator of both series' Michael Jacobs teased: "I think there's more than a chance. I think there's a strong chance."

As Mstars previously reported, the potential series, which picks up with the Matthews now full-grown adults and the parents of two children, follows the couple's young daughter "Riley" and the life lessons that she learns as "Girl Meets World", notes Yahoo. Contrary to the original ABC series that ended thirteen years ago, this story will be told from a young girl's point of view, specifically Cory Matthews' daughter's perspective.

Another teaser picture, posted by Ben Savage (Cory Matthews) shows a classroom full of the next generation of kids who will pick up where Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and Eric left off. The actor captioned the picture "my first class," leading us to believe that Cory chooses to follow in Feeny's footsteps.

Although it is still undecided which other members from the old "Boy Meets World" gang will be joining Cory, Topanga, and their new family in 2013/2014 if the series gets picked up, at least we know we can look forward to seeing the familiar face of Mr. Feeny, the principal/neighbor/teacher/mentor/guidance counselor we all wish we had to help guide us through our lives.

Will we be hearing the "Feeny call" in "Girl Meets World?"
