'Wolverine' Teaser Trailer Released: Movie News and Updates, Jean Grey/Phoenix in Latest Film? Hugh Jackman Photos, 'Wolverine' Full Movie Trailer Coming Out Wednesday

The latest chapter in "The Wolverine" saga is coming to theaters July 26, 2013. Fans won't have to wait to see some pictures and video though. A new teaser trailer was just released by the film's director James Mangold. Okay, so the teaser trailer is just six seconds, but it's still something. There also have been some pictures and a movie poster revealed for "The Wolverine" starring Hugh Jackman. The first official trailer for the movie is going to be released this Wednesday.

The plot, written by Twentieth Century Fox on IMDB's website reads, "In modern day Japan, Wolverine is out of his depth in an unknown world as he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before."

The six second Vine video clip, posted on Twitter by Mangold, also shows a quick shot of Jean Grey. Actress Famke Janssen played Jean Grey/Phoenix in three of the "X-Men" films and by the looks of the teaser, she will be in "The Wolverine." However, I don't want to get fans too excited too soon. It does look like it may just be a flashback shot of Grey in the previous "X-Men" movies. There is no word yet if Famke is actually going to be in the latest movie. Hopefully we will find out more after Wednesday's trailer.
