Looks like former Dallas Cowboys great, Deion Sanders is having some health issues and will have to undergo surgery after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7.

In a new Instagram post, seen above, Sanders' eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr. stood by his father's side to support him before he gets a shot at a local hospital. Sanders claimed that he was getting an injection in his back because he needed surgery. He revealed that he was getting the shot to help with his pain until the Super Bowl was over in a few weeks.

"See I'm in the hospital about to get an injection in my back," he said before explaining why he was laying down with a hospital gown on. "My back got me walking like Fred G. Sanford," he joked claiming that the shot was going to hold him off until he has surgery after the big game.

Sanders claimed the only reason he was happy about the shot was because it was going to feel like they were giving him that "Snoop Dogg" whatever that means!

MStars News believes that Sanders probably wanted the shot so that he could work the Championship game reporting live as an analyst for the NFL's biggest night that will be taking place in San Francisco this year at Levi's Stadium.

After getting his shot Sanders appeared to be feeling better because he posted a new updated video showing off his muscles with a smile as if he was about to get ready to workout for the day.

"Today I feel so good, yes I do. I'm back to getting fine," he declared.

Hopefully Sanders doesn't over do it and feels great until his surgery date. MStars News also hopes that his back issues get worked out with a safe surgery.
