It's been only three days since Love and Hip Hop New York's reality star, Mendeecees Harris reported to the Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood in Pennsylvania. Since then, Harris has already given his fans an update with a statement saying, "I'm good."

Leaving his brother in charge of his Instagram page, Harris said on Wednesday night, "Yo if they asking...let 'em know I'm good."

MStars News has been keeping up with the Harris family every since we learned that Harris pleaded guilty to drug trafficking. Harris, along with his brother and another man, shipped large amounts of cocaine and heroin from downstate New York to the Rochester area.

Before going away to prison to finish out his eight year sentence, Harris spent a lot of time with his family including his four kids.

During his court hearing, Harris told U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr., "Ever since (having children), I've been trying to right my wrongs." Harris has often times talked about his prison sentence and said that he really couldn't make excuses for his past actions, all he could do now is learn from it. Before going to prison, Harris said that he was stressed some days worrying about his family. "You have days where you don't even think about what's going on, and then you have the days when you actually are stressed about your current situation," he explained. MStars News also learned that he and his wife, Yandy Smith, decided to take their kids to Disney World before the sad day came earlier this week when Harris reported to the federal prison. With their daughter, Skylar Smith Harris, turning a year old this month, Harris and Smith decided to do a pre-birthday celebration for their youngest child.

With at least 7 years left in his sentence, MStars News hopes all of Harris' updates will be positive. We will continue to keep Love and Hip Hop New York fans in the loop with Harris' case.
