Tom Cruise 'Oblivion' Score [VIDEO]: M83 Releases Title Track for Sci-Fi Film Soundtrack Featuring Susanne Sundfor
The soundtrack to the futuristic Sci-Fi, Tom Cruise-starring movie, Oblivion, has been garnering a lot of anticipation considering the involvement of M83. Earlier this month, the first song off of the Obilvion soundtrack, "Star Waves," was released and now we are treated to the title track of the film. The song, "Oblivion," also features the vocal talents of Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfor. We recently learned that frontman and chief songwriter of M83, Anthony Gonzalez, has collaborated with Joseph Trapanese on the soundtrack. Trapanese had previously worked on the Tron: Legacy soundtrack with Daft Punk.
M83 has done soundtracks before, including those of Chronicle, The Last Song and Last Night.

The Oblivion soundtrack arrives April 9 via Back Lot Records.
Oblivion is a futuristic story that shows Cruise "take on the role of a solider sent to a far-off planet under orders to destroy what remains of an alien race. An unexpected arrival leads him to question his mission and the world he's been dispatched to."
Oblivion opens in theaters on April 10 and features Olga Kurylenko, Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo alongside Cruise.
