With all the rumors surrounding the Rolling Stones 2013 North American tour, fans sometimes forget that there are still a lot of official announcements that need to be made by the legendary rock band. The latest rumor surrounding the band's 2013 plans involves a possible leg of their tour stopping in Australia. According to reports, the band's 50 and Counting world tour announcement could come as early as this weekend. Get ready Stones fans because Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts could be coming to a town near you very soon.

The aging rock stars continue to amaze the music industry and fans by rocking into their 70's. The band most recently played a few shows as a part of their 50th anniversary concerts in late 2012. The band performed at London's O2 Arena, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

This was a surprise to many who though Dainty and Virgin Live would promote their new tour. The latest speculation involves the band touring in Australia as a part of their 2013 touring plans. Themusic.com.au is reporting that multiple Australian dates are being discussed. Although nothing is confirmed, this is big news for Australia, which last hosted the Stones in 2006 for their A Bigger Bang tour. The band also played in Australia in 2003 for their Licks tour. As themusic.com.au noted, Dainty would handle the Stones touring in Australia if it happened.
