'RHOBH' Kim Richards New Lifetime Series 'The Mother/Daughter Experiment'
Kim Richards might have had a tumultuous 2015 as she not only was arrested twice, spent some time in rehab, but was also fired from her spot as a fulltime cast member of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, it looks like 2016 is going to be the year that she mends relationships with her family, and she is starting with her daughter, Kimberly Jackson. The pair has agreed to be filmed on a brand new series for Lifetime called, The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition.
According to PEOPLE, the former star of RHOBH has enlisted her daughter Kimberly, 21, to join her on the show where they are looking to fix their relationship.
In a clip from the series, the 51-year-old former child star turned reality mom gets into a fight with Jackson as they try to work out some of their issues.
"Don't tell me what to do, I'm defending myself!" Richards tells her daughter.
It seems that a lot of the hurt between the two stems from Richards' addiction, as well as her rough patches over the last year.
"I want you to stay healthy always," Jackson tells her mom in another part of the clip, as she wipes away the tears from her mom's eyes.
The news site is reporting that the show will feature six mother/daughter pairs as they try to fix their broken relationships. Therapist Dr. Debbie Magids will help them, as they work on getting back on good terms with each other over the course of 8-week sessions.
Other members of the cast according to E! News, include Heidi Montag and her mom Darlene Egelhoff, Courtney Stodden and her mom Krista, Shar Jackson and her daughter Cassie, Hollywood Exes' star Jessica Canseco and her daughter Josie, as well as Bad Girls Club star Natalie Nunn and her mom Karen.
The series will debut on Lifetime on March 1 at 10 P.M.
