Eminem On Broadway, 'Hamilton' Collaboration? 'Speechless' Lin-Manuel Miranda Meets 'Rap God'
Lin-Manuel Miranda (creator and star of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton) snapped a photo with infamous "Rap God" Eminem after another sold-out performance in New York City on Thursday (January 28). The celebrity encounter left the renowned composer somewhat speechless:
@Lin_Manuel: "Um."
Pretty cool, right? Given Miranda's lyrical skills, perhaps the 43-year-old Detroit emcee might want to collaborate on something!
The MMLP2 superstar kept his presence very low-key, but did hang-out with several members of the cast and crew backstage:
@ChrisisSingin: "#RAPGAWD @Eminem Thx for honoring us Marshall! Gracious and kind to Every Single Co Member! #class @HamiltonMusical."
Still, several fans took notice of Em's exciting visit to the Big Apple:
@melissa_silano: "Eminem say Hamilton last night so I'm thinking it's only a matter of time till he writes a Broadway musical in which case I can die happy."
@ElleMCo: "In wtf news, Eminem saw Hamilton last night. Hamilton is the only musical that everyone sees even if they don't watch musicals in general."
@ElenaIsAwesome: "Eminem going to see Hamilton - is it bad I kinda feel like who's going to Hamilton is becoming the taylor swift welcome to the stage deal?"
@Actor_Friend: "It was cool seeing Eminem on the stage after the show last night. He does rap and Hamilton has rap, so I could tell right away he liked it."
@AElhamalawy: "guys, Eminem saw Hamilton today... If that doesn't say something idk what does."
Apparently, Slim Shady isn't busy working on another solo album quite yet. He's currently more focused on other business ventures:
So, what do MstarsNews readers think of Eminem's support of the popular hip-hop inspired show?
