NCAA Tournament 2013 LIVE STREAM Watch Online: Marquette-Miami, Keys To Matchup, Where to Watch

By Alex Galbraith, Mstarz Reporter | Mar 28, 2013 02:12 PM EDT

The 2nd  seeded Miami Hurricanes are set to take on the 3rd  seeded Marquette Golden Eagles at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. tonight. The game starts at 7:15 pm EST and will air on CBS.

Miami  obliterated 15th seed Pacific 78-49 before narrowly winning (courtesy of some questionable calls) against Illinois in the Round of 32. Marquette has had to fight every step of the way, nearly losing to underdogs Davidson and Butler.

This match is going to be the most even (read: exciting) games of the Sweet 16. The teams are evenly matched in almost every measurable category including wins, points scored, and free throw percentage.

Keys to the Matchup for Miami: Come Out Early And Don't Let Up

Marquette has had to come from behind in both of their games this tournament, and Miami is much better than both of those teams. Marquette seems to start slow so an early lead for Miami is crucial. Grab on to the lead and then don't the Golden Eagles to come back.

Keys To The Matchup for Marquette: Play Tight Basketball/Show Up for the First Quarter

These teams are so evenly matched that any sloppy play could be absolutely disastrous. Turnovers are likely to decide who will walk out of the Verizon Center with a W. Also, the Eagles need to act like they're excited to play in the Sweet 16. Start playing at the beginning of games or there's no way you'll defeat the surging Hurricanes.
