Miami Heat, LeBrom James Upset [VIDEOS]: Chicago Bulls End Winning Streak, Fan Tries to Steal Headband
The Miami Heat's winning streak has come to an end thanks to the Chicago Bulls' 101 - 97 victory over the basketball powerhouse and LeBron James is not happy. Miami's streak ended with 27 consecutive wins, which was the longest winning streak in more than 40 years in the NBA. According to James, the Heat's loss was due to dirty plays that he considers not to be "not basketball plays." To make matters worse, one Chicago fan tried to snatch James' signature headband right off of his head while he was walking into the locker room. LeBron was not amused.
In a post-game interview last night, James let the media know exactly how he felt the game went down, calling out specific players and fouls that he deemed too physical and dangerous.
James said inside the United Center:
"I know that a lot of my fouls are not basketball plays. First of all, Kirk Hinrich basically grabbed me with two hands and brought me to the ground. Taj Gibson was able to collar me around my shoulder and bring me to the ground. Those are not basketball plays - and it's been happening all year.
"I've been able to keep my cool and try to tell [Erik Spoelstra], 'Let's not worry about it too much.' But it's getting to me a little bit. Because every time I try to defend myself, I've got to face the consequences of a flagrant for me or a technical foul."
As the game came to an end, James walked his shoulder into Bulls player Carlos Boozer, which garnered him a flagrant-one foul. The crowd in Chicago erupted in mocking cheers.
