FX has become such a successful cable network that it's creating a spin off network "FXX." One of the reasons for the network's success has been it's plethora of critically acclaimed TV shows like "Sons of Anarchy." With season 5 of the show coming to a close in December of 2012, rumors have already been running rampant about what is in store for season 6. Keep reading for some of the latest news surrounding the show.

After the shows dramatic finale, word is things will pick up just days after the finale left off. At FX's Upfront Party this past week, the series creator, Kurt Sutter, revealed some tidbits about the shows next season.

One thing fans love to find out is what new characters will be joining the show. Word is Jimmy Smits' character Nero will become a series regular, while two more characters will be added to the cast. According to TV Line, one of the new characters is described as "an old-school shot-caller that's out of Stockton," while the other is a female cast member who is "in sort of the escort world." Unfortunately though, it sounds like Billy Blanks' character August Marks may not be coming back for the sixth season.

As for Tara, after being incarcerated for the role in Pamela Toric's death, Sutter says, "You saw the beginning of the shift in that relationship at the end of last season, when Tara broke that news to Jax about wanting to get out with the boys." There also will reportedly be changes a top the SAMCRO table. There will be a new VP and seargent-at-arms.

It also looks like Donal Logue will be back for an increased role in the next season. US Marshal Lee Toric will likely be gunning for SAMCRO in season 6. "We sort of fluctuate, where one season the adversary will be in the outlaw world and other seasons it'll be someone from the law enforcement world - and the interesting thing about Donal's character is he sort of falls in the middle," Sutter says. "He's law enforcement, but he's ex-law enforcement...He's probably the most dangerous adversary they've ever had in terms of his access to law enforcement information, yet he doesn't necessarily have to follow all those rules."

Season 6 of "Sons of Anarchy" is sure to be another explosive season. There will likely be a lot of new characters and story lines with the same old "Sons of Anarchy" drama.
