Reports confirm that Reid Flair (real name, Richard Reid Fliehr) was found dead in a SouthPark hotel room in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, March 29. Flair, a professional wrestler and the son of legendary WWE star Ric Flair, was only 24-years-old. Details surrounding Flair's sudden death still remain unknown, and a police investigation is currently ongoing. Flair battled a troubling addiction with heroin in the past - he was arrested several times and was facing felony charges at the time of his unfortunate death.

Ric Flair (stage name, "The Nature Boy") had his agent release this official statement to TMZ:

"We are heartbroken to confirm that Ric's son, Reid Fliehr, has passed away today March 29, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. "The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing... No words can describe the grief that Ric and his family are experiencing and they do request privacy during this devastating time."

Reid Flair was an independent wrestler who was making a name for himself in Japan over the past few months. As a kid, Reid wrestled in the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Reid had his fair share of legal troubles in the past. He was arrested for assault and battery in June 2007. On March 2009, Flair was arrested for driving while impaired in Mecklenburg County, NC - he was released after posting a $1,000 bail. The brother of fellow wrestler David Flair was arrested again in April 2009. After crashing his car, police found black tar heroin inside the vehicle - Reid faced felony charges from that incident up to the time of his death. He was also charged with driving while impaired, driving with a revoked license, and possession of drug paraphernalia - he was finally released after posting a $15,000 bail.

Thoughts and condolences go out to Reid's family, friends, fans, and wrestling crew during this time of tragedy.
