Paris Jackson 2016 Confession on Instagram: Michael's Daughter Attends AA Meetings
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris is now 17 and something of an Instagram star whose every move has been followed ever since her birth. Sick of the attention, the young heiress recently took to social media to snap back at haters, saying she wouldn't let everyone rip her like they did with her father -- and confessing she attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
According to Us Weekly, the young Jackson took to Instagram earlier this week to lash out at haters in a post that has since been deleted. In it, she admitted she has other things to do other than to reply to every single comment strangers leave on social media, including, yes, attending AA meetings.
"I have AA meetings to go to. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations," Jackson said on the social network. "I appreciate the love and support, but the expectations are f-king ridiculous. The expectations for my DAD were f-king ridiculous. He didn't owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me."
Back in June 2013, the young star was treated at a residential facility in Utah after attempting suicide, and the attention on her since then has been even higher. Entertainment Tonight Online reports that, on another comment that was also deleted later on, 17-year-old Jackson also said the awful messages on her social media had made her so depressed they were what led her to attempt suicide.
Still, in the years since, Jackson's only daughter (she has two brothers, Prince and Michael, Jr.) has bounced back to become a seemingly very stable young woman. Last year, the teen began dating soccer player Chester Castellaw, and the two even attended a red carpet event together. TJ Jackson, Paris' co-guardian and cousin, told the press that Castellaw was "a good boy" who treated her well.
