Marvel and Netflix are ringing in the Chinese Lunar New Year with a brand new teaser for the second season of Daredevil. The new promo not only features Charlie Cox's Devil of Hell's Kitchen with colorful Chinese lanterns but also the voice of Jon Bernthal's The Punisher!

The new TV spot for Daredevil Season 2 shows Matt Murdock on top of a building in Hell's Kitchen with Chinese lanterns and fireworks in the background. The dramatic shot takes on a dark turn as the words, "The Time Has Come to Settle All Debts" is displayed behind Matt. Just as the teaser ends, Bernthal's Frank Castle orders an unseen victim to "Beg."

But is The Punisher talking to The Man With No Fear? The synopsis for Season 2 has already revealed that Frank will be Matt's new nemesis in the show, and that the vigilante will be out for vengeance. Is it possible that Frank is torturing Matt in the yet-unseen "Beg" scene?

Bernthal has previously spoken up about playing the Marvel antihero, admitting that being The Punisher has been the most difficult role he has ever taken.

"I had to put myself in as dark of place as possible the last six months," he told EW about getting into character. "With Frank, what was important was the emptiness inside him. He's dealing with this unbelievable loss. There's unbelievable anger and hatred and shame."

In addition to that, Bernthal teased on what to look forward to in the second season of Daredevil.

"I can tell you that this guy, horrible tragic things happen, and we will see how he goes through that," he said. "The effect the other characters have on him will push him certain directions. I think once you see these characters collide, it's tremendously interesting and emotionally gripping as well. It's going to be a special season."

See Bernthal as The Punisher when Daredevil Season 2 airs on Netflix on March 18.
