Unfortunately for Milton, he refuses to kill Andrea and ends up getting killed by the Governor. Milton dies trying to stand up to the Governor, but in the end it was to no avail as Andrea meets her fatal end as well. Before dying though Andrea explains her actions from this past season.
Andrea says that she wanted to keep peace and prevent war. She had an opportunity to kill the Governor, but she just couldn't do it. Was that a mistake? Andrea's final scene is a tense one and one of the better scenes of season 3. Unfortunately for Andrea she was bit so she has to kill herself. However, despite dying, she saved a number of the Woodbury citizens. The final scene was so touching even Michonne, who refused to leave Andrea's side, shed a tear.
Carl is going through some demons of his own. It's clear Carl is having trouble coping with what is going on around him. He callously kills Jody, a young soldier of the Governor's, when he wouldn't put down his gun quick enough. It seems as though Carl is still carrying guilt over Dale's death.
In the final scene of "Welcome ot the Tombs" Rick brings a bus full of Woodbury survivors to the prison. Rick, unlike the Governor, shows an ability to change his mind and accept peace. However, Carl looks upset that his dad brought the Woodbury survivors back to the prison. Could we be seeing a preview of something for season 4?
