With Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing John Blake aka Robin in the latest Batman movie, there were rumors he could pop up in a Justice League movie or even the new "Man of Steel" film. Believe it or not, the rumors are Gordon-Levitt would play Batman in a cameo role, which would be strange, since he played Robin in the Batman movie. Either way, the rumor has apparently been shot down by the actor himself. MTV caught up with the actor at the Sundance Film Festival and he denied any rumors that he would make an appearance in "Man of Steel." "I hadn't heard that one," Gordon-Levitt told MTV News. "It just goes to show how much you can believe rumors." Now that this rumor has seemingly been put to rest, we can move onto another rumor involving "Man of Steel."
There have been loads of rumors surrounding the possibility of Superman villain Lex Luthor showing up in "Man of Steel." Despite the fact that it looks like the main villain will be Michael Shannon playing General Zod, there is now some news that provides significant evidence that Lex Luthor will indeed be in "Man of Steel."

This Lex Luthor; however, apparently won't be the goofy Gene Hackman or Kevin Spacey type villain, but rather a cold, harsher version. According to the website, a relatively unknown actor is supposed to be playing Luthor. Smallville's Lex Luthor clone, Mackenzie Gray is rumored to be the man playing the villain.
