Justin Bieber Battery Charges: To Be Prosecuted After Being Blamed For Spitting On Calabasas Neighbor?

Justin Bieber may just be prosecuted over the alleged incident of battery between the Biebs and his Calabasas, Calif. Neighbor, according to TMZ.

TMZ cited Los Angeles law enforcement sources that said "investigators will refer the case to the L.A. County District Attorney for review after the investigation is completed, and the Dept. will recommend that criminal battery charges be filed against the singer."

The charges stem from an alleged 100MPH spin through the neighborhood surrounding Bieber's California home. The 19-year-old singer reportedly took his Ferrari around the block at 8 A.M. When his neighbor confronted him about the driving, the singer supposedly responded by saying "Get the f--k out of here. I'm gonna f--king kill you" and spitting in the man's face. The neighbor has since filed battery charges against the Canadian bred pop star.

There is no official recommendation yet because the investigation is not yet complete.

According to TMZ, law enforcement is also taking Bieber's recent transgressions into account including drugs, fights, speeding tickets and reckless driving.

Regardless of whether he is prosecuted, TMZ's sources within the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department claim that Bieber needs professional help to manage his anger and behavior, saying that he's going down a "dangerous path."

It's been a rough few weeks for Justin Bieber. Recently, he has fainted during a concert at London's 02 Arena, scrapped with paparazzi, been kicked out of a London nightclub, allegedly caught smoking weed and had his pet monkey quarantined while trying to leave Germany.

What do you think? Will Bieber be prosecuted and face charges? Is he guilty of battery? Does Justin Bieber need professional help to rid himself of any underlying anger issues? Will things get better for the Biebs or is he stuck on a dangerous path?

A source had revealed to Mstars, "Bieber is a good and respectful kid and there are people who are trying to push him to his limits."

"There are some jealous people out there who want to ruin his career.  Though it hurts Justin, it's also making him stronger.  I know he will make it through all this.  He is doing his best to be known and loved for his music,"
