Madonna, Anthony Ciccone: Homeless Brother Attacks Billionaire Pop Singer Sister, 'She Never Loved Me'
The 54-year-old estranged brother of pop star Madonna has recently come out with some harsh claims against his sister, saying she would not even care if he died. Anthony Ciconne is currently living in northern Michigan as a homeless person. After previously working at the family's vineyard, Anthony was terminated and has since been a vagrant. He is also reportedly an alcoholic.
"Madonna doesn't give a [expletive] if I'm dead or alive. She lives in her own world. I never loved her in the first place, she never loved me. We never loved each other," Anthony tells the British tabloid news source, The Daily Mail.
These statements have come shortly after Madonna officially became a billionaire after her successful "MDNA" tour, which brought in $305,158,363.
Anthony then turns his attention to his father, saying:
"My father would be very happy if I died of hypothermia and then he would not have to worry about it anymore. He's old school, he grew up in the depression. He doesn't want to be bothered; he's lived his life you see. He doesn't like me. He doesn't want me to be me, he wants me to be somebody else. He thinks the way I live is intentional. He simply doesn't know me."
Sources that are close to the Ciconne family are denying Anthony's story, claiming that he is welcome back to the home at any time. Apparently a job at the vineyard is also waiting for him as long as he quits drinking. Unfortunately, Anthony does not believe that he suffers from alcoholism.
When asked why he does not seek help at a rehabilitation facility, Ciccone says, "I'm a human being, you can call me what you want. [Alcoholic] is a label, I don't like it. I don't need brain surgery, I merely need love and care of family and friends."
Madonna has never addressed any of her estranged brother's claims over the years.
