The French-Italian singer-songwriter and former first lady of France, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy has reportedly taken some shots at the current French President, Francois Hollande, in her new album Little French Songs. She also throws in a song about her relationship with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. The ex-model also praises her husband, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, on the album, which came out today.

In her song entitled "Penguin," Carla mocks the current president by using a French nickname for someone who lacks grace and manners despite being dressed the part.  "He takes on the airs of a king, but I know the penguin does not have the manners of a lord," read the lyrics. The song also addresses an incident where Hollande did not walk with the departing couple as they exited their stint at Elysee Palace, a French custom, but instead posed for photos in the garden. To this, Carla sings: "If one day you cross my path, I'll teach you to kiss my hand."

Another song, "At Keith and Anita's Place," reminisces about time spent at Keith Richards' and then-girlfriend Anita Pallenberg's home with Mick Jagger, her ex-boyfriend. "Someone is rolling a joint.  Oh no!  I don't smoke. We're at Keith and Anita's place," Bruni-Sarkozy sings.

Finally, yet another song off of Little French Songs that is garnering a lot of attention is "Mon Raymond," an apparent homage to her husband and former president Nicolas Sarkozy. She calls her husband "sentimental but complex," "electric," and sings: "Whatever fools say, Raymond is dynamite." Little French Songs' release "comes as her husband is under political fire for his campaign finance activities.  A formal investigation was opened on March 21, the same night Bruni made an appearance at the Echo Music Awards in Germany" according to The Hollywood Reporter
