'The Walking Dead' Season 6 SPOILERS: Norman Reedus Says Daryl Dixon Will Go Back To His Roots
Negan should watch out for Daryl Dixon in the future episodes of The Walking Dead Season 6. Now that Jeffrey Dean Morgan's villain and his Saviors have tried to take Daryl's things, Norman Reedus admits that there will be hell to pay!
"As far as Daryl is concerned, he is pissed off. He's had his stuff taken from him. He put himself out there and trusted some people, and it did backfire on him, and I think he comes back super pissed off," Reedus told Entertainment Weekly.
It certainly sounds like Daryl will be getting a lot of action when in the new TWD episodes, and Reedus revealed that he could revert back to being the angry young man he was in Season 1.
"I feel like there's a lot of vengeance happening in the second half, and a lot of payback on Daryl's mind. He's headstrong now, and he's kind of turning into the same sort of aggressive person he was in the first part of the show, going back to his roots," he said, adding that Daryl's big brother would definitely enjoy seeing Daryl in the back half of the sixth season.
"I think he would definitely be making Merle proud right now," Reedus said.
Merle, who was played by Guardians of the Galaxy star Michael Rooker, was unexpectedly killed off in the episode "This Sorrowful Life" in Season 3. However, he might not exactly be happy to see that his brother felt alienated in Alexandria, but Reedus confirms that things are about to change for Daryl.
"I think he didn't really fit in at Alexandria, and now that Alexandria is what it is, we're back out to the wild again," he said. "He wanted to fit in, and he wanted to be part of this group, and he wanted to do the right thing, but he's still very hesitant about it, and I think now it's kind of like, 'See, I told you so,' type of situation, and he's definitely upset."
The Walking Dead Season 6 airs on AMC every Sunday nights.
