Melissa Joan Hart, Nutrisystem: 'Sabrina' Star Named New Spokesperson and 'Brand Ambassador' for Diet Plan System, Company Welcomes Actress onTwitter

Nutrisystem has just announced that Melissa Joan Hart will be the diet system's new spokesperson and has lost 20 pounds after her September birth of her third child due to the diet plan. The 36-year-old is now Nutrisystem's "brand ambassador" and has expressed her excitement in sharing her weight loss success with others.

"I love working with Nutrisystem," said Hart. "The Program is really delivering results for me and I look forward to long term success, staying motivated and helping others do the same."

Nutrisystem's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Keira Krausz said released the following statement:

Melissa recently gave birth to her third son with husband Mark Wilkerson last September and has been using Nutrisystem to lose the pregnancy weight. She has also written a memoir titled Melissa Explains It All: Tales from My Abnormally Normal Life, which will be published in October of this year.

Most people remember Melissa during her younger years on such shows as Nickelodeon's "Clarissa Explains it All" and then ABC TV's long-running series "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." Right now, Hart is starring alongside 36-year-old actor Joey Lawrence in the aptly named ABC Family television comedy series "Melissa & Joey."
