Chris Brown and Rihanna News [VIDEO]: Brown Talks Loving Karrueche and RiRi, New 'Honesty' Vow, Says 'I'm Not A Player, Dumping Tran Was 'Difficult'

Despite being photographed shuffling back and forth between Rihanna and Karrueche Tran like Serena Williams at a tennis match, Chris Brown said, "I'm not trying to be a player..."

Brown is currently promoting his upcoming album X, and is suddenly sharing all sorts of details about his personal life, including revealing detailed regarding his former love triangle with Rihanna and "The Kill, designer and stylist Karrueche Tran.

Brown stopped by New York's HOT 97 radio station to chat with DJ veteran Angie Martinez about his latest single "Fine China," what to expect vocally on X, and his public relationships with Rihanna and Karrueche Tran.

"I wanted to be more of a man. Me being young, even with relationships in the past, I did a lot of lying, I did everything just to make sure nobody gets hurt in the process, Chris Brown told Angie Martinez. "All I am saying is... You don't mess with people's genuine feelings. You just don't!"

Well isn't that nice? Brown continued, "I'm not trying to be a player. It's never an easy situation to tell another person that you still love another person, so that's kinda difficult. "But our friendship, me and Karrueche's friendship, is still cool. We're still good friends."

Although Breezy said he does not want to "capitalize his fame or stardom..off of a personal relationship," its apparent from all of his recent interviews that he doesn't mind sharing when promotion is involved. Brown said, "in the same breath thats what people always look for." Maybe this explains his recently sense of openness and friendliness with the press. One thing is for sure, Brown knows how to sell an album.

For those of you who do not remember, Brown and Rihanna's first trial at coupledom ended in a violent rage, when Brown was found guilty of felony assault in 2009. Photographs of Rihanna's badly beaten and swollen face surfaced and Brown became a target for fans and media around the world. Rihanna went into her dark "Rated R" phase and Brown tried to save face for his abuse ways.

Brown started dating Karrueche in 2011, then in 2012 four years after assaulting pop princess Rihanna, Ri Ri and Chris began to rekindle their relationship. The love triangle unraveled before fans eyes, with posts on Twitter and Instagram of Chris with Karrueche one night and Rihanna another.

Fast forward to 2013 and Brown has a business relationship with Karrueche and has confirmed that he is back with Rihanna.

Is this all a publicity stunt for his album or does Chris really want to be an honest man with Ri Ri? Breezy said that Rihanna has his heart, but does she have his mind?
