'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout "Drinking" While Pregnant? Fans Post Angry Messages In Response!
Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout surprised fans when she revealed she was pregnant with her third child not long after giving birth to her daughter, Jayde. However, those same fans are now blasting the MTV star for allegedly drinking alcohol while pregnant.
According to The Ashley Reality Roundup, since Maci is due May 30, she was shown drinking on the show in the first few months of her pregnancy. The reality gossip site even posted some reactions to this revelation:
"So is Maci Bookout the next public speaker for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome after drinking the first few months of pregnancy now?" wrote one Twitter fan. Another tweeted, "So disappointed...accidental 3rd pregnancy and you're drinking through this one too? Good job Maci." A third follower suggested the Tennessee mom has an issue with alcohol writing, "You were drinking 6 weeks ago but your 26 weeks pregnant? Maybe you have a drinking problem & should get help."
Radar Online also posted some accusatory fan tweets including, "Every scene of @MaciBookoutMTV shows her drinking beer and she knows damn well she's pregnant" and "You are so busted on the episode around Christmas you were drinking a beer at the restaurant!"
The Ashley reported that when Maci and her castmates were in New York City for the "After Show" tapings, "Maci had no noticeable bump whatsoever during the taping, and was downing shots and drinks the whole weekend!"
As MStars News reported, the reality star was probably the most shocked of all when finding out she was pregnant again. She reportedly wasn't planning on having another baby so soon with fiancé Taylor McKinney, which could be why she was drinking while pregnant.
"I was at the doctor, ironically, to get my birth control prescription refilled!" she told Us Weekly. When the doctor told her she was pregnant, she "laughed at her!" She said. "I mean, she's the doctor that delivered Jayde, so I was like, 'Ha ha, that's a funny joke - but it's not really that funny!' And she was like, 'No, seriously!' And I was like, 'Oh, OK - well, give me 10 minutes to not freak out ... You're wrong. You've got the wrong results, you mixed them up.' But no, she was serious!"
