Louisville basketball player suffered a horrific broken leg injury this Sunday after landing awkwardly on his right leg. After being taken off of the court, the injured Ware called his teammates over to tell them to go and win the game. They did just that. Now the media has been all over the young player's recovery and he himself has been active on Twitter in order to update followers on his condition.

After a series of tweets including photos of his bandaged leg and featuring him on crutches, Ware posted a similar photo but this time with an important message:

Mstarz recently reported on the Louisville player's unfortunate broken leg. Here is an excerpt:

With just six minutes left in the first half of the b-ball game on Sunday, 20-year-old Ware suffered a severe compound fracture following his devastating fall and was taken to an area hospital near Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for treatment.

Although Ware appeared to be in severe pain, he remained relatively calm while he was transported onto a stretcher and wheeled off the court. According to Louisville coach Rick Pitino, who was in tears throughout the entire ordeal, Ware kept repeating to his worried teammates, "Just win the game." And that's exactly what they did - Louisville defeated Duke 85-63 and now advance to the Final Four. And according to Coach Pitino, Ware will travel to Atlanta's Georgia Dome with Louisville to support his team in the Final Four this weekend.

"The doctors here have been tremendous. The hospital has been tremendous. And the operated right away on him. He's not in any pain. So, we're real pleased with that," Pitino told ESPN after his visit Monday. "He'll come back tomorrow to Louisville and travel with the team to Atlanta."
