Gladys Knight's Signature Chicken and Waffles restaurant may be on a "Midnight Train" out of the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. The famous soul food restaurant landed a bad score, and failed their recent health inspection.

According to AJC, the Midtown restaurant located on Peachtree Street scored an 56 after Fulton County inspectors found 15 violations, including heavy debris, and violations with hand-washing.

The legendary spot usually attracts a lot of tourist, and even has lines wrapped around the corner. People wait up to an hour sometimes just to enjoy home cooked meals like chicken and waffles, mac and cheese, and cornbread from the restaurant.

Shocked, one faithful customer named Tomeka Thomas still decided to eat at the restauran,t even after the low score was posted.

"No, a 56? Eighty-five is bad to me, but a 56? Oh, wow," the woman who makes drives from Alabama to Atlanta just to stop by one of her favorite restaurants said. "It's been very good, very good."

Fulton County health inspectors will return to the restaurant within 10 days for a re-inspection. Hopefully, the popular business can pull major strings to get their place back in order.

Last year, the famous waffles venue scored a 94.

So far, no comments have been made by the restaurant of the singer, Gladys Knight.
