Rick Ross raps about date rape and he "Don't Even Know It!" The "U.O.E.N.O." rapper, caught flack for his derogatory lyrics in which he described slipping a date rape drug in a women's champagne, and since the song was released he has denied "condoning rape." After issuing a lack luster apology last week, Rick Ross used his Twitter account to issue yet another apology, in which he said fans "interpreted" lyrics as rape.

Rick Ross issued a second "so-called" apology via Twitter today:

While the lyrics, "Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it/ I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it," directly invoke thoughts of date rape, Ross stands by his former statement. Last week, Rozay told a New Orleans Q93 radio station that the words were "misinterpreted."

Rick Ross told the radio station:

"Woman is the most precious gift known to man. I would never use the term 'rape' in my records and as far as my camp. Hip-hop don't condone that, the streets don't condone that, nobody condones that. So I just wanted to reach out to all my queens that's on my timeline, all the sexy ladies, the beautiful ladies that have been reaching out to me with the misunderstanding: We don't condone rape, and I'm not with that."

Why did Rick Ross issue a second apology? Maybe the petition for Reebok to discontinue their endorsement has him under pressure? Ross, followed up his apology with this tweet:

Although Rick Ross is the Boss of his MMG record label, he has yet to produce a certified platinum album. Will this date rape controversy help his future sales?
