Several breaking news reports confirm that three members of the hit Bravo reality series "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" are currently being accused of assaulting and throwing "terrorist threats" at a NJ resident named John Karagiorgis at a Ridgewood clothing store on Saturday (March 30). Apparently the violent brawl took place after Karagiorgis allegedly made fun of and insulted the Laurita's young autistic son, Nicholas. Karagiorgis promptly filed a police report and the situation is currently being looked into by NJ authorities. Read on for more details.
Little details surrounding the violent fight have yet to be released, but authorities do confirm that the three 'RHONJ' cast members have been accused in the altercation. Karagiorgis claims the alleged attack left him injured and bloody, with a gash on his forehead marked by a stiletto heel.
The Lauritas, Gorga (Housewife Melissa's husband and the brother of Teresa Guidice) and approximately 100 other people were at the Ridgewood shopping center to support socialite Kim DePaola‘s opening of her new store Posche 2. The show’s entire cast and crew were in attendance, as filming for the upcoming season five wraps up.
Apparently all chaos broke loose when Karagiorgis began insulting the Lauritas' young son who has autism.
Chris, Joe, and Albie Manzo (the son of Housewife Caroline Manzo) allegedly started the brawl against Karagiorgis. A sink was thrown and several things were destroyed. According to Hollywood Life, property damaged amounted to a whopping $15,000.
“It was a huge brawl. Three of Kim D’s clothes racks were destroyed and three of our custom sinks were broken,” eyewitness Jennifer Dunn told Patch on April 3. “There was blood on the walls.”
The Lauritas and Gorga have since filed counter-claims - the case was sent to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and a hearing on the charges is set for April 18. Stay tuned with Mstars for more details as they become available...
