Joey Feek has been fighting as hard as she can when it comes to her stage 4 cancer diagnosis. MStars News has learned that the country singer has only days to live says her husband, Rory Lee Feek who has been updating fans on his wife's condition.

In the latest blog, Rory claimed that his wife shared one last kiss with their daughter, Indiana during her second birthday as her pain started to increase, and her health started to decline. Little Indiana celebrated her 2nd birthday. Her mother made it through to see that special day.

In a new blog, Rory wrote: "Not long after Indy’s birthday my wife decided that ‘enough is enough’. She was ready to stop fighting and she told me so. She said the flowers would soon be blooming back in Tennessee. It’s time to go home." He added, "My wife has been asleep for days now and her body is shutting down quickly. The hospice nurse came again this morning and said Joey will most-likely only be with us for a few more days… at the most."

According to Taste of Country, Joey's hometown has been supporting the singer during her last days.

Alexandria-Monroe High School coach Jon Howell remembers the singer being not just a star, but a true talent.

"She didn't just sing, she was pure country even as a young child," he stated. "She was a tremendous talent from the start."

Taping a photo of Joey in his office, Howell plans to keep that snapshot of the singer to remind everyone that they should, "Find someone strong, confident, intelligent, faithful, and learn." He explained,"It's all about people paying attention to her life and how she's chosen to live it at the end."

The coach added, "The way she is living her life right up until the very end is nothing short of an inspiration, not only to us in Alexandria, but all over the world."

Nancy Cook claimed that her children grew up with the singer. Cook and her son have started putting up signs to support the Country star along a local road.

"Every time I look at the sign, I pray for her," Cook revealed. "I pray for a miracle or what's God's will."

MStars News previously reported that Joey decided to end cancer treatments last November after doctors revealed their was nothing more that they could do. Joey and her family moved to hospice care in her hometown of Alexandria, Indiana where she has been living out her final days.
