CW's 'Legends of Tomorrow' Spoilers: Twitter Reacts Dominic Purcell/Wentworth Miller Twist!
The CW Network continues with an all-new episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Due to the craziness of time-traveling, Twitter had lots to say as the partnership between Heat Wave (Dominic Pucell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) took a shocking twist!
In our previous recap, Sarah Lance (Caity Lotz) discovered an apocalyptic future where Deathstroke ruled in terror as king. The new Green Arrow (Jones) happened to be Diggle's son all grown up and Deathstroke was really Slade's son behind the mask. When Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) discovered Connor had been kidnapped, he came out of retirement to save him. Though Deathstroke was taken down, Connor and Oliver still had a lot of work to do to save Star City.
In our recent recap, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) found himself taken hostage by a group of space pirates. Heat Wave betrayed the team and allowed the time parties to jump onboard the Waverider. After defeating the time pirates, Captain Cold knew he was responsible for Heat Wave's punishment. As Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Atom (Brandon Routh) kissed, Captain Cold aimed his freeze ray and Heat Wave and pulled the trigger.
In an interview with The New York Times, Miller reveals Cold's motivations, "He's probably a legend in his own mind already, but hero status - he probably perceives that as something out of his reach, because he's been a villain, he's done some not so great things. But through the course of this adventure, with the stakes being what they are - saving mankind - it's conceivable that redemption and wiping the slate clean are possible, even for someone like Captain Cold."
