Miley Cyrus and Jodie Sweetin Feud? Singer Throws Shade at 'Fuller House' Star On Instagram
Barely over a week after Jodie Sweetin's comeback to television by reprising her childhood role of Stephanie Tanner on Fuller House, the actress has landed a place in Dancing with the Stars, gotten a renewal for a second season on Netflix ... and gotten into a feud! Miley Cyrus, no stranger to weird Instagram snaps, suddenly threw shade at Sweetin on the social network.
Cyrus, 23, took to Instagram last Friday to share a snap of her "current mood" on the social network, where she often posts random images of herself and other celebrities with filters and stickers. The most recently controversial post featured two pictures of Sweetin holding a cigarette while sitting on a man's lap, and while the actress' face is very visible, his isn't, as another one was Photoshopped instead.
The Daily Mail has identified the man on the pictures as Cody Herpin, Sweetin's ex husband, and the superimposed image as the fact of Justin Hodak, Sweetin's current fiancé. In any case, it was unclear what Cyrus meant to convey by posting the pictures, where Sweetin looks intoxicated.
The Full House alum has been very vocal about her struggles with substance abuse when she was younger, particularly in the years following the end of the show that made her famous, as she shared in her memoir unSweetined that she turned to alcohol and drugs to fight boredom after the show wrapped.
Sweetin has since grown past her addictions and is currently going through a career revival -- which is why people didn't take Cyrus' seemingly hurtful pictures particularly well.
"I'm sure @jodiesweetin doesn't appreciate you posting this and this is something she isn't proud of. She has made mistakes like everyone else in this world," a fan commented on Cyrus' photo. "At least she realized her mistakes and has turned her life around for the better. She is a beautiful person inside and out and has an awesome testimony that can help others struggling with addiction. I hope you can learn something from her and realize you need to do some changing."
Neither Sweetin nor Cyrus have made any further comments regarding a possible feud, but this wouldn't be the first time in recent months that the "Wrecking Ball" singer, who was also a child actress on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, finds herself feuding with another star. Famously, Cyrus spoke about Nicki Minaj on an interview, prompting the "Anaconda" singer to hit back at her during last year's VMA's.
