The Orioles head into the 2013 regular season at the no 12 spot - as sports columnist Nick Nelson points out, "The Twins will throw Vance Worley, Kevin Correia and Mike Pelfrey at Detroit in their season-opening series, which tells you all you need to know about the state of the rotation."

The Twins currently hold a 3-2 winning record, having just played the LA Angels. 

The Orioles snag the no 13 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to John Shepherd, "The Orioles' hope this season is for another playoff appearance, not simply a winning record. Plus, it is backed by the exploits of Manny Machado and a starting rotation that performed well last season." 

Baltimore heads into Friday's game with three wins and two losses after playing the Tampa Bay Rays. The Orioles proved victorious in Game 1 against the Twins with a score of 9-5, while Minnesota snagged a victory in Game 2 with a score of 6-5.

The ball game will be broadcasted live on MASN2 and FS-N, but fans can listen in on the radio at 1500 ESPN, KNOX, ESPN 980, WBAL, and WSPZ 570.
