Season 12 "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj is working on a new album outside of her reality show duties and she revealed some information recently that should interest fans in an interview with MTV News. The rapper has reached mega stardom with various new products, her TV show gig, and music career. Nicki discussed a possible new track being released from her new album in addition to her recent single "High School" with Lil Wayne. Keep reading to find out what Nicki had to say.

Some disappointing news for fans is that it doesn't sound like the rapper plans on touring anytime soon. Nicki revealed to MTV News that she doesn't think she has the time. "I don't think I can. I really would love to," said Nicki.  "But I don't think I'll have the time, because I'm also going to be launching a few products this year that I'm really going to have to lend myself to the clothing line, I have a drink that's about to come out and these new speakers that you guys are going to see a commercial for this week or next week." Nicki also told MTV News that her biggest priority right now is writing.

The "Super Bass" singer also revealed in the interview that her "High School" single may not be the last song released from her upcoming Re-Up album. "We might have one more, and I think the Barbz know which one it will be," Nicki revealed. "I've been working with Ciara a lot actually I'm in the studio to finish up a couple things for her today, amongst other things, but she has this dope, dope song. I can't wait for the Barbz to hear it, so we might end up doing the record ['I'm Legit'] I have with her as well."

By the sounds of it, Nicki has a lot of stuff going on. One big question she hasn't answered yet is if she will be returning for another season as a judge on "American Idol." With a new album, clothing line, drink, and speakers Nicki may not have enough time to continue on "American Idol." Would you like to see her return for another season? Sound off below.
