Lisa Kudrow Denies Signing Contract Stopping 'FRIENDS' Cast Sleeping With Each Other
The Friends Reunion 2016 was finally aired last month during the tribute to 10 Emmy Awards Winner director James Burrows, and the cast members shed some light about their off-screen chemistry. Not only this, Lisa Kudrow, who played the Phoebe Buffay in the series, stated that the entire cast did not sign any contract that stopped all of them to sleep with each other.
For the first time, since the last episode of Season 10 of Friends, almost the entire cast were seen together. Jennifer Aniston, Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc appeared together but Matthew Perry was absent from Must-See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows and as reported by HollywoodLife, the entire event turned out to be pretty amazing.
As reported by Telegraph, the event was hosted by Andy Cohen. While talking about the rumors that swirled around the cast at the time of shooting that they will not date each other, Cohen asked the cast as if they all signed onto a contract that prevented them from sleeping with each other. The cast of Friends, however, did not deny the existence of such contract nor confirmed it -- except for Kudrow, who stated that she was not aware of any such contract.
Although no one found out the real answer to that question, they all learnt that after the end of the sitcom, the Friends cast did along very well in the real life. Aniston, who was recently seen with Cox at a charitable event stated that she admired Burrow a lot and from the very beginning of the series, she fell in love with each other.
The cast of Friends came together to celebrate Burrows' 1000th episode on television. The acclaimed director had directed several episodes of series like Cheers, Wings, The Class, The Big Bang Theory and others.
