The finale of The Walking Dead Season 6 is undoubtedly one of the most hyped-up episodes in the AMC show's history due to the impending arrival of Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan. But is Steven Yeun worried now that the comic book villain is coming to the TV series to murder Glenn? The TWD actor's response might surprise you!

Yeun recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly, where he also teased about Morgan's introduction in the season finale.

"For me, his arrival is awesome," Yeun said, adding that the villain's debut is something that he has been looking forward to.

"We've been waiting for this person for a long time, and in the comic books, he in a way brings a level of stakes that are kind of unmatched," he said. "And so, for me, for Negan to come into the show is, to say nothing less, f-ing awesome."

Negan's introduction might be exciting for Yeun, but Glenn fans don't feel the same way. After all, Negan's first victim in the comic book is none other than Maggie's (Lauren Cohan) husband. Nevertheless, Yeun insists that things could go differently in the show.

"I know people are going to always go, 'Negan kills Glenn in the comics,' but rest assured that we don't necessarily do what's in the comics," he said, adding that AMC could possibly introduce Negan in a completely different way.

"There's a clear divide in the way we tell a story on television, and the way that story is told in the comics, because it has to be and everybody will have to see what happens, but we definitely tell our story in the way that television should be told," Yeun concluded.

Find out if Glenn manages to dodge Negan in the sixth season of The Walking Dead, which airs on AMC every Sunday night.
