'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Talks Pregnancy & Wedding: Will Big Day Be Filmed For MTV?
Teen Mom star Maci Bookout shocked fans when she announced her third pregnancy after just giving birth last year as well as finally getting engaged to longtime boyfriend Taylor McKinney. The MTV star recently opened up about everything that's been on her plate and how she has been dealing with it.
"I'm just trying to stay above water right now," Maci told Reveal UK.
Everyone wants details about her wedding and the reality mom divulged a few details about the big day.
"So far, that's the plan," she said about filming the ceremony for the show. "[Costar Catelynn Lowell] has given me some tips on having the camera crew and MTV be a part of it. That's been helpful. Filming is a lot of work, so having that added stress can be a little rough. She's been talking to me about how to handle it, so that's been nice."
"As of right now, [Maci's son] Bentley is going to be like a mini best man and we're not sure for [Maci's daughter] Jayde and the new baby just yet..." she continued. "We're still trying to figure out what would be best for them, considering they are going to both be so young."
As for possible names for the new baby, the Tennessee mom said, "We've got a few that we're thinking of, but we haven't 100 percent decided just yet. One of them is Maverick and the other one, that my mum wants, is Connor. I think I want Maverick."
As MStars News reported, Maci's third pregnancy was not planned at all, while the story of how the reality star found out about it was kind of crazy.
"I was at the doctor, ironically, to get my birth control prescription refilled!" she told Us Weekly. When the doctor told her she was pregnant, she "laughed at her!" She said. "I mean, she's the doctor that delivered Jayde, so I was like, 'Ha ha, that's a funny joke - but it's not really that funny!' And she was like, 'No, seriously!' And I was like, 'Oh, OK - well, give me 10 minutes to not freak out ... You're wrong. You've got the wrong results, you mixed them up.' But no, she was serious!"
