Pop icon Miley Cyrus loves to kick her day off with yoga. The 23-year-old Bangerz singer recently posted her daily workout on Instragram. Needless to say she displayed various positions on her blue mat that showcase her flexibility.
The Grammy nominee recently revealed her morning regimen with several impromptu photos claiming "Starting da day right." She added "Gotta do yoga not for my body but for my mind! DO YOGA or GO CRAZY!" Her impressive routine consisted of downward dogs, tree poses, and headstands. Although Cyrus admitted several of them perhaps looked a bit silly. The "Wrecking Ball" vocalist has been an admirer of the spiritual and physical discipline for many years. Back in 2013, she was spotted practicing her moves on a beach in Costa Rica while on vacation with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth. In 2015, Cyrus posted photos of her actually twisting herself into a human pretzel. She's also been featured doing headstands, one of which while she was smoking a marijuana joint.
Perhaps Cyrus is trying to unwind from the stress of returning to the acting world. She is currently part of Woody Allen's yet untitled TV series for Amazon. In fact, the Hannah Montana star recently filmed a very tense kidnapping scene in New York.
