Elizabeth Vargas Crush, Harrison Ford [VIDEO]: 'Good Morning America' Host Embarrasses 'Stars Wars' Star with Confession, He Blushes
"Good Morning America" host Elizabeth Vargas managed to make legendary Hollywood hunk Harrison Ford blush after confessing that he was her "very first movie crush." The 70-year-old Ford was on this morning to promote his new film 42: The True Story of an American Legend, in which he plays Brooklyn Dodgers General Manager Branch Rickey who signed Jackie Robinson.
"I have a confession to make," Vargas told Ford during the morning interview. "You were my very first movie crush."
After a slight pause the movie star responded, "Oh yeah?"
"In the movie 'Witness,' in that scene where you were dancing with Kelly McGillis to that Sam Cooke song up in the barn. There was an article that came out a couple of years ago when people were asked to name their sexiest scene in a movie, and I thought that was my pick."
Ford, who is married to actress Calista Flockhart, smiled and responded with a polite "Well, thank you very much."
Then when Vargas asked Ford if she had embarrassed him, he responded, "A little bit."
Vargas moved away from the topic by saying, "Well, you're great in that, and you're great in this movie."
Despite blushing on live television, Ford did answer a question about the upcoming Star Wars films that he has been rumored to be cast in.
"We hope we're going to see you very soon in 'Star Wars.' Will you be great in that as well?" Vargas asked.
"Yeah, I'll be average," Ford jokingly responded.
"We'll see," he said. "I don't know if I'm going to be invited to the party. So we'll see. I really enjoy J.J. Abrams. I admire him. I did his first movie, Regarding Henry, about 20 years ago."
