The 50th Anniversary Special of BBC's sci-fi institution Doctor Who won't air until November 23, raving Whovians can sate their thirst for Who-related knowledge with these set photos.

The photos (here) show the 11th Doctor Matt Smith hanging on to the bottom of his time-traveling spaceship, the TARDIS high above London's Trafalgar Square. Newly added companion Clara (Jenna Louise-Coleman) can be seen standing in the doorway.

The cast also wrapped 50th Anniversary filming at the Tower of London.

The 50th Anniversary celebration will contain a massive convention and party at London's ExCel Centre on November 22 expected to draw in 15,000 Whovians. The fete will lead up to the premiere of the 50th Anniversary Special  the following day (November 23). On top of appearances by many (if not all) of the the Doctors, the cast also includes screen legend John Hurt and many memorable villains.

To recap what we know of the anniversary special, it's going to contain Matt Smith (11th Doctor), David Tennant (10th Doctor), Billie Piper (Rose), Jenna Louise-Coleman (Clara Oswin Oswald), Zygons and shots at the Tower of London and Trafalgar Square. That's quite a bit of special to dive into, but this is quite an event (and as the Doctor himself might say "Geronimo!")
