Chris Brown, Rihanna [UPDATE]: Fight Over Phone Caused Animosity, BUT Breezy And RiRi Did Not Break Up

Rumors have been flying surrounding what caused Rihanna and Chris Brown to break up. According to an inside source gleaned by HollywoodLife.com, a fight on the phone caused all the animosity between RiRi and Chris Brown (and, interestingly enough, they are NOT broken up.)

We'll start with the fight. Rihanna was reportedly upset as Chris Brown had "flaked" on some quality time in Vancouver April 1.

"Chris was supposed to be with Rihanna and spend a night, but at the last minute, he flaked and told her some bulls*** a** excuse and she was over it," an unnamed source that HollywoodLife describes as "well-informed" said.

"She feels like he's not serious enough at times and it frustrates the f*** out of her. She blew up at him over the phone. They went back and forth and I guess he didn't want to hear what she had to say, so he hung up," the source added.

Breezy apparently doesn't take to kindly to being called out by RiRi. He views it as "being told what to do" and loses his cool.

"She tries to talk to him on a serious level, but he doesn't hear her," the source says. "Chris thinks Rihanna tries to tell him what to do, but she isn't. It's just love on her part and sometimes he doesn't see it that way."

While the duo haven't spent any time alone since the argument, the inside source told HollywoodLife that everything is cool in the land of Chris Brown and Rihanna. In spite of all of the rumors, they are still a couple.

"She just wants him to be more mature," the source says. "They're together. They'll be alright. They're cool."
