'RHOA': Peter Thomas Spills Tea on Marriage to Cynthia Bailey, Slams Porsha Williams
Looks like Peter Thomas really wants everyone to know his marriage to Cynthia Bailey is in trouble. MStars News has learned that Thomas spilled more tea about his troubled marriage and even fired major shots at co-star Porsha Williams.
In an interview with Power 98, Thomas said his marriage is in a bad place right now and claimed that physical distance between them and working on The Real Housewives of Atlanta complicates things.
"My marriage is definitely in a place where I don't need it to be," Thomas admitted. "We're working 18 hours a day, so we never really get to spend time together, and after six seasons on the show, we're just not there with each other. Everyone tells me, 'Oh, you're going through the five-year thing'. My wife might be going through the five-year thing, but like I've always said, when I went before God and said 'I do,' I meant it."
Thomas even revealed that he and Bailey never had a real honeymoon after tying the knot on camera. The couple got married during The Real Housewives of Atlanta season back in 2010.
Thomas claimed he hasn't seen a successful marriage last on the Real Housewives franchise. He saidThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd were the only major success when it comes because they were married long before their days on reality TV.
"I don't see any relationships on any of the Real Housewives shows, outside of Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, where it actually worked for them," he said.
Thomas also addressed the comments Williams previously made claiming he was cheating on Bailey while working in Charlotte, N.C.
According to The Shade Room, Thomas called Williams an uneducated young girl who was basically raised to go after men with money. In other words become a "gold digger" or make sure she has a "suga daddy."
[Porsha Williams] does not have the resume that Cynthia Bailey has. This is one of those girls that was bred to go and get the cat with money. No education whatsoever, she just looks pretty and goes and get the [rich guy] and shows her a**."
Thomas also explained himself after he was caught on camera getting close to a woman who wasn't his wife at a bar in Charlotte. He claimed the show exaggerated it last season.
MStars News previously reported that Thomas claimed he was quitting the show to help save his marriage. Thomas said he wanted to exit the show because he didn't want his kids to see his marriage go downhill.
