'19 Kids' Jessa Seewald Nervous to Leave Hubby Ben With Baby Spurgeon on TLC Show
Jessa and Ben Seewald have been together for quite awhile and are about to celebrate almost two years of marriage together, but it seems that they are still facing some challenges in their relationship. The former 19 Kids and Counting couple might know everything there is to know about each other, but during a recent episode of the Duggars new series, Jill and Jessa: Counting On, Jessa faced a new challenge when it came to leaving her son, Spurgeon alone with her hubby.
According to Us Weekly, Jessa was a little bit nervous when it came to the situation, as she was apprehensive to leave her baby alone with Ben.
The site reported that at the time of filming the episode, it had been six weeks since the couple welcomed the newborn into their lives and that it would be Ben first solo time taking care of Spurgeon while Jessa went to grab coffee with her sister Jana Duggar, and sister-in-law Anna Duggar.
Ben was pretty nervous about her leaving him, even saying to her that it was his first time "babysitting," a word which Jessa corrected saying, "technically, it's not babysitting if it's your own baby."
While Ben did seem pretty prepared for the task, he said that the two things that he was most nervous about were that he wouldn't be able to change a diaper and that he wouldn't be able to handle it if Spurgeon started crying.
However, it seems that Seewald was a natural. as he conquered his diaper fear on camera, nonetheless, and he seems confident in taking over the duties again.
"I think next time this situation comes up, I'll be a little more confident because I'll have done it before," Seewald explained according to The Hollywood Gossip.
Jessa also couldn't have been happier with how the "babysitting" turned out, saying, "I had nothing to worry about. Ben had everything under control," according to The Stir.
