Rapper Gucci Mane (real name, Radric Davis) has been hit with one count of aggravated assault for allegedly a soldier in the head with a bottle at the Harlem Nights club in Atlanta, Georgia. James Lettley, the alleged victim, claims that the rapper hit him over the head with a champagne bottle when he tried to get a picture with the rapper in March. The soldier needed 10 stitches. After leaving the scene, Mane eventually turned himself in. With this indictment, the rapper could be looking at jail time. He is currently under house arrest.

Gucci Mane is no stranger to run-ins with the law. Over the last few years he has been accused of drug and traffic violations, assault and battery and even weapon charges.
He was most recently seen in the film Spring Breakers opposite James Franco, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens.
Mstarz recently reported on the incident involving Gucci Mane and the soldier he attacked. Here is an excerpt:
The soldier told WSBTV that on the night of the assault, he approached a security guard manning Mane's exclusive VIP section at the club. James tried to explain that he was in the military and only wanted a picture with the rapper when Mane (real name, Radric Davis) allegedly struck him over the head with the heavy bottle.
The solider stated, "I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle. And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face."
James continued explaining, "That is dangerous because if there was to be any other fan trying to approach him, ain't no telling what else he might do to them... He could have possibly killed me. I just hope and pray that I recover pretty well because I still want to serve my military career."
The soldier was later treated at Grady Memorial Hospital and received 10 stitches.
