Tom Cruise's ex-wife Katie Holmes has been surrounded with her rumors regarding her alleged relationship with Jamie Foxx. However, as nothing is being official yet, recent reports suggest that Holmes is using Foxx to further boost her acting career.

OK! Magazine via Gossip Cop reported that Holmes and Foxx have faced numerous rumors about their relationship. There have been earlier rumors that Holmes is pregnant with Foxx's child. While most A-list stars try to stay away from such rumors about their personal lives, Holmes is enjoying the attention she is getting from all of it.

"Holmes has no problem with the industry attention she's getting from the talk surrounding herself and Foxx. Since they've started hooking up he's introduced her to so many big producers and power players, it's a massive turn-on to her and something she's taken full advantage of."

The insider went on to reveal that Holmes, who was last seen in 2015's Touched with Fire, is not having a perfect professional life and Foxx, whose fifth studio album, Hollywood: A Story of a Dozen Roses, went on to top the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album charts and #10 on the Billboard 200, has a great level of influence in the music industry.

Further fuelling speculation of a relationship existing between the two, the Daily Mail focused on the diamond ring Holmes continues to wear.

"Katie Holmes stepped out in New York on Thursday as she picked up some art supplies," the publication reported on Thursday. "The 37-year-old actress stopped by a BLICK materials store and was pictured waving down a cab as she made her way home with a big bag of craft supplies."

Meanwhile, as the report noted, Holmes was once again seen wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger, the same ring she is been seen with for the past couple of months, and has made fans wonder about her rumored engagement with Foxx.

Despite the rumors about the couple being married, a source close to both has clarified via TMZ that Foxx and Holmes are just casual friends and there is nothing romantic going on between them.

Well, one can speculate that Holmes who has a successful career that spent over two decades will need help from a friend to boost her career.
