'Grace and Frankie' Season 2: Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin Still Dealing With Gay Exes!
Netflix has nabbed some big names for its original programming, and without a doubt, one of its most impressive casts is that of Grace and Frankie, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, which is set to return for its sophomore season.
The Hollywood legends will reprise their roles as hippie Grace Hanson and uptight Frankie Bergstein, two women who've known each other for decades but haven't particularly liked one another until forced to live together. The reason? Their husbands (played by Martin Sheen and Sam Waterson) announced they were in love -- with each other.
In season two of the Netflix "senior" comedy, the ex-husbands have gotten married, and everyone's trying to make things work as a new, modern family.
The trailer also hints at a new relationship for Grace, who dipped her toe back into dating last season (Craig T. Nelson played a love interest): The new man will be played by Sam Elliott, who just released his own Netflix series, The Ranch, starring Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson.
The trailer includes a few more awkward moments; while season one Grace and Frankie smoking pot on the beach, this season, Fonda's straightlaced character, Grace, gets a vibrator!
Grace and Frankie's season 2 will premiere on Netflix on May 6.
